To update or delete an observation you've submitted to COBS, follow these steps:

Updating an observation:

1. Log in to your COBS account.
2. Navigate to "My Observations" from the dropdown menu under your username.
3. Find the observation you want to edit in the list.
4. Click the "Edit" button (pencil icon) next to the observation.
5. Make the necessary changes to the observation data.
6. Click the "Save" button to update your observation.

Deleting an observation:

1. Log in to your COBS account.
2. Navigate to "My Observations" from the dropdown menu under your username.
3. Find the observation you want to delete in the list.
4. Click the "Delete" button (trash icon) next to the observation.
5. Confirm the deletion when prompted.

Note: Once an observation is deleted, it cannot be recovered. Make sure you really want to delete it before confirming.
